Training & Development – THE Group has a Leadership & Management Workshop contract with the Welsh Government and is an approved centre for the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). The organisation delivers bespoke, tailored and generic programmes across sectors as diverse as Manufacturing, Tourism, Financial Services, Construction, e-skills sector, etc. THE Group provide both the VRQ and NVQ learning options, but specialise in accelerated learning techniques to ensure the successful transfer of skills into the workplace and high levels of return on investment for customers.

Virtual Learning Solutions – THE Group has been early to recognise the impact of technology on the learning and development marketplace and ensure that its products and services fully utilise the advances in technology. E-learning has become an important facet within the training and development portfolio. THE Group offers a range of e-learning courses available to customers and has developed Accredit®, a system for obtaining ILM professional qualifications on-line. This cost effective solution can be utilised as part of a blended training programme or solely as an e-learning package, providing ultimate flexibility where and when training is delivered; reducing administration costs and simplifying processes.

Coaching & Mentoring – As experts in Coaching and Mentoring THE Group are able to provide these services, in order to enhance the learning experience so that skills, knowledge and behaviours are put into practice effectively. This service can be provided as consultancy, or alternatively we can help client to create an internal resource of effective coaches and mentors themselves. We can do this through the provision of ILM coaching and mentoring qualifications from level 3 to level 7.

Management Systems – THE Group works with organisations to attain externally approved standards such as Investors in People, ISO9001, IS014001, OHSAS 18001 and many specific industry external standards. THE Group’s expertise in this area has been developed and refined by the Executive Team, previously Directors at the Wales Quality Centre. Continuing from this exposure, THE Group builds bespoke management systems for its customers that will not just satisfy external registration bodies, but also improve the key processes and procedures of each individual customer.

Consultancy – THE Group has extensive experience of working with organisations to provide change management, continuous improvement, learning and development and HR consultancy services. Recognising that organisations need to continually adapt to change, THE Group delivers the knowledge, skills and resource that enables organisations to quickly address people and process issues and become more effective, efficient and successful. THE Group also holds Welsh Government contracts, including New Business Start-up, the Inclusion Challenge Fund and the DWP – JSA Self-Employment Offer. THE Group has a team of specialist advisers in place to ensure that the right service is provided at the right time with the appropriate level of expertise, adding value to the business customers it serves.
