THE Group is a leading provider of professional business services that enable growing organisations to optimise performance through enhancing people and processes.
THE Group is a privately owned company formed by Brian Taylor and Paul Tinkler, who are also part of the Executive Team. They met at the Wales Quality Centre in the early 1990’s, sharing a common objective of helping organisations to grow, developing solutions for people and processes. With over 20 years industry experience and a passion for the services they offered, they formed THE Group in 1997. The training and development, virtual learning, coaching & mentoring, management systems and consultancy services that THE Group offer, are pivotal in helping growing organisations to overcome common issues and to optimise performance.
Brian is responsible for the Management Systems area of the business working with organisations to standardise business processes that improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve marketing potential. Offering a range of standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and OHSAS 18001, THE Group has been extremely successful in this area with clients achieving 100% of certifications undertaken to date.
Paul is responsible for the Training and Development area of the business. With extensive knowledge of the learning strategies and resources market, our tailored approach and close relationships with customers stand out. THE Group’s specialism in leadership and management has enabled THE Group to build preferred partner relationships with organisations such as the Welsh Government and ILM, becoming an ILM Centre of Excellence. With a reputation for delivering a high quality service, THE Group enable organisations to flexibly and cost effectively maximise their learning potential.
THE Group has three offices across the UK; these are located in Cardiff, Corsham and Wrexham.
Providing services to the UK market for growing businesses, THE Group key customers include Arriva Trains, Brother Industries, Bristol City Council, Track You, Babcock, Steritouch, Total Petrochemical, Orange, Tetra Pak and Bath University.
