Overview

With employment law protecting the employee to a greater extend every day, management are increasingly unsure about how they can formally address someone’s unacceptable performance / conduct. However, if the issue goes unaddressed, it has a habit of not only getting worse, but spreading beyond that individual! This workshop helps participants to recognise what they can and can’t do when disciplining someone, and how to conduct an investigation.

Training Outcomes

After attending this course, participants will be able to;

  • Understand the basic legal requirement to follow when undertaking grievance or disciplinary hearings.

  • Conduct a fair and objective investigation into a grievance or disciplinary claim.

  • More confidently hold a grievance or disciplinary meeting.

  • Select the most appropriate action as a result of investigation.

  • Explain the reasons for the outcome of grievance and disciplinary hearings.
