Training video producer Supernova’s As Old as You Feel has won a Gold Award at this year's New York International Film and Video Festival. The Awards Ceremony took place last Thursday 30th January at Manhatten’s Tribeca Rooftop. The 48th Annual Festival attracted entries from 31 countries.
Supernova won the award in the human relations category with As Old as You Feel. The 10 min cartoon promotes a positive approach to age in the workplace. It was written and produced by Supernova director Vincent Thompson, and has a commentary by Woman’s Hour’s Jenni Murray.
Vincent commented “I’m delighted that the film has received this recognition. Age discrimination at work is a problem for young and old. We’ve set out to raise awareness and promote good practice in a witty way without being patronising”.
The engaging practical DVD comes with a supporting guide. More information and video clip at:

![Green Dragon Level 2 Environmental Standard]()
THE Group is proud to announce the successful achievement of the Green Dragon Level 2 Environmental Standard. This commitment to waste reduction and recycling recognises the organiations approach to business and in addition supports their ethical philosophy. The company has worked hard to build an in-house culture that values external accreditation for the right reasons. In other words, this is a real, everyday commitment to follow effective procedures rather than just ‘badge collecting’.

THE Group has been instrumental in supporting Brother UKs drive to effectively introduce CIT (Continuous Improvement Teams) into the organisation. THE have provided regular Continuous Improvement Training (see pic) and Advice that has assisted in the initiative in becoming immediately productive and engaging. The success of this programme has led to major business improvements that Brother Industries are now looking to build upon at their Wrexham plant over the next few years.
