THE Group has announced that it will be partnering with Fenman Ltd, a leading provider of training materials to exclusively distribute the ‘Hopscotch’ training product.
Hopscotch is a unique training aid that can be used to open and close a training session, seminar or event launch where the audience is required to engage in the change process.
Paul Tinkler, Director at THE Group comments “Hopscotch is a concept for opening individuals’ minds to change, engaging participants on a personal level and encouraging the discovery of strengths, preferences and areas for development. We have received a very successful response from individuals and organisations that have experienced the Hopscotch process”.
A key boardroom discussion topic, successful ‘change management’ is how individuals and organisations continue to learn, develop, evolve and survive in business.
The Hopscotch model is based upon using childhood experiences and how change experienced during the early years can affect the individual. Change can be dramatic and large scale such as restructuring or mergers through to something small scale and deeply personal such as promotion or relocation. In all cases it can bring upon a spectrum of emotions from eager anticipation to abject misery and dread.
Fenman Ltd are a leading UK provider of professional development resources, training DVD’s, training manuals, games and activity packs for use by learning and development professionals.
Brian Calvert, Marketing Manager at Fenman comments, “Hopscotch is an exceptional product that has an excellent fit with our product portfolio”.

Training video producer Supernova’s As Old as You Feel has won a Gold Award at this year's New York International Film and Video Festival. The Awards Ceremony took place last Thursday 30th January at Manhatten’s Tribeca Rooftop. The 48th Annual Festival attracted entries from 31 countries.
Supernova won the award in the human relations category with As Old as You Feel. The 10 min cartoon promotes a positive approach to age in the workplace. It was written and produced by Supernova director Vincent Thompson, and has a commentary by Woman’s Hour’s Jenni Murray.
Vincent commented “I’m delighted that the film has received this recognition. Age discrimination at work is a problem for young and old. We’ve set out to raise awareness and promote good practice in a witty way without being patronising”.
The engaging practical DVD comes with a supporting guide. More information and video clip at:
